The New modern Sport. AIRSOFT!

Thursday, April 16th, 2009

Has fast been gaining popularity among extreme sport lovers. It is a game involving adventure, fun and skill. A lot of people are still confused about what the game really is. For all you confused people out there here’s a brief insight into the game of Airsoft. WHAT IS AIRSOFT? Airsoft is similar to paintball but is more military in style. The basic aim of the game is to eliminate your opponent by shooting them with airsoft guns. It can be played indoors or outdoors. Difficulty levels may range from military situations to mere child’s play . HISTORY OF THE GAME Airsoft originated in Japan in the 1950’s when it was difficult for individuals to own fire arms. The first airsoft guns were the air driven pellet guns. This game that began in Japan soon gained popularity in China, South Korea and many parts of Asia. In Europe and the United States, airsoft guns started gaining popularity in the 90s. In the US, the first airsoft gun, known as Shootin’ Shell, a children’s toy was manufactured by Mattel. THE EQUIPTMENT The equipment is a rifle pistol which is a mere replica of the original firearm. The spherical non-metallic pellets are launched from a compressed air gun powered either by gas , manual spring load or an electrically powered gear box. THE GAME The game is to hit your opponent with the pellets. Some people have designed authentic military clothing to suit the game. Once you are hit, you have to shout hit and leave the combat field with your hands raised up. The game requires you to be honest as there is no sound when the bullet hits you and unlike paintball there are no marks left either. SAFETY RULES • Don’t shoot into anyone’s foot or your own foot • Keep the gun pointing away from any object not to be shot • Keep your fingers away from the trigger and outside it until you are ready to play • Be sure of your target • Use appropriate eye protection while playing the game This is all there is to the game. After learning about the game I am sure it interests most of you. So go out there and start airsoft-ing for some fun.

Is it possible to have a family and still travel and have adventures?

SmartBlonde asked:

All I hear about from mothers on here is about sacrificing for their families and about how happy they are with their babies that they don’t need to go out and do things for themselves anymore.

I’m just not that type of person. Does anybody out there have a non-conventional family? Travel? Live abroad? Take the kids up the mountains? Is is possible to have a family and still travel and have adventures and do all the things that make my life worth living?

I’m really not prepared to give anything up to have a family, so I just wonder if it is possible to have it all. I wouldn’t want to risk resenting my kids, so I won’t have them if it means the end of my life.

Please don’t lecture me about being selfish. I’m just not suburban mom material, more safari mom digging wells in Ethiopia that sort of thing…

His wife’s name was Karen, last known residence was Portland, Oregon, he was very into extreme sports, he climbed mount Rainer. Can anyone give me his number or a place where I can get his number free?
